Happy Easter everyone - I’ve been recovering after my joyous 3 mile run, after making a decent 25 minute time I’ve been spending my time filling myself with sugar in the form of big chocolate eggs and celebrating the end of LENT!
The great thing was that Katie and Shauna decided to toddle along the first mile and finished a whole one minute and 5 seconds before me - now try telling Katie that she didn’t win!
Also - as you all know it was St. Patrick’s Day last week and we decided to enter the true spirit of the feast and be part of the festival in our town of Downpatrick - although we’ve been told we’ll always be looked on as blow-ins!

You’re not going to believe this… I’m going to run and it won’t be to Burger King!
Ok, ok so Stevie Kane did a marathon (or is it a snickers?) - but that’s beyond me, and being one who likes to throw myself half-heartedly into things I’ve signed up to do the Sports Relief 3 Mile run the day before St. Paddy’s.
I’m not sure of the course yet, just hoping it’s all downhill and that there’s a wee shop at the end of it so I can by a bottle of water!
I know it pales into insignificance compared to Mister Kane’s efforts - but a little at a time please!

As you probably know by now, if you know me at all - I’m a real skint flint, always looking for a bargain! Well, I’ve found many, many bargains and it’s like getting paid to shop! It’s totally legit and I’ve made (saved) over £300 from sites like these!
My previous favourite was always rPoints, and for the whole part they’ve been good - the idea is that they have affiliate links to online shops and they split their commission with you - sometimes generously, sometimes keeping the bigger part to themselves. (eg - when I bought my Home Insurance - I shopped around looking for the best price and still got £70 cashback)
They’ve launched a new website called Cashback Kings where they claim to give you 100% of the commission (apart from the first £5 you “earn”). The same insurance deal would have gotten me £100 cashback! So they’re worth a try - you can get the money sent staight to your bank account (which I’ve done - it’s safe) - or you can get amazon vouchers for the value of your cashback. Not bad!
